This video does a pretty good job of conveying the "passion" for flight.  Take a look.

Incredible video, thanks for sharing it. I got goose bumps a couple time. Interesting thing about the narrator. I was a groomsman in a long time friends (he is a pilot as well) wedding over the weekend. My buddy who was getting married introduced me to one of his good friends who is a very accomplished helicopter pilot with quite a resume. We talked for a while and then later he comes over and tells me that he is delivering a helicopter to Harrison Ford at his ranch in Wyoming and asked if my friend and I would like to ride along. Obviously, that isn't even a question as far as I am concerned. I'm hoping it works out!

If that wasn't enough excitement for the weekend. On the flight home I hear the guy next to my talking about an aircraft that has no rudder but changes the pitch on its props to provide yaw control. I had to chime in so I asked what happens when you lose an engine? He says nothing because the props are connected by a driveshaft. Next question - What in the world kind of aircraft are you talking about!? Turns out this guy is leading the committee that is establishing the process for training civilian pilots to fly tilt rotors. He was an experienced osprey pilot and had flown 25 years in the military and 3 years as a private pilot for the royalty in the United Arab Emirates (landing on 500 foot yachts etc.) It was quite an interesting flight!
